A brilliant weekend at St Giles House in Dorset. I filmed over two days as two families came together, one flying in from the US, the other from the UK.
Great speeches, a spontaneous kickabout on the lawn and a candlelit dinner with the warmth of an intimate dinner party and that just-married feeling.
It’s also my longest edit so far, over 17 minutes. Victoria originally asked for Super 8 only, but in the end I filmed digital alongside it too, so the film could run longer and I didn’t have to hold back. There’s still a lot of Super 8 in it. A proper documentary, which is how I think a wedding film should look.
