Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data I collect on perkypugfilms.com, why, and what you can do about it. I keep it simple: I only collect what I need to reply to your inquiry, and marketing cookies run only if you allow them.

Who I am

The controller of your personal data is Petr Novák, trading as Perky Pug Films, Synkova 20, 628 00 Brno, Czech Republic, VAT ID CZ9101175138. You can reach me at hello@perkypugfilms.com.

Inquiry form and email

When you send an inquiry through the form or by email, I receive the details you choose to share: your names, email address, wedding date, venue or location, WhatsApp number, what you tell me about yourselves and your plans, and your budget.

• Why: only to reply to your inquiry, check my availability and send you an offer.
• Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• How long: if we don't work together, I archive your inquiry in my mailbox within a month and don't use it any further: no follow-ups, no marketing. Just write to me and I'll delete it for good. If you book me, I keep the data for the duration of our contract and as long as accounting and tax law requires.
• Who processes it: my email provider (Google Workspace) and my website host (Cloudflare), which delivers the form to my inbox and keeps a backup copy of each inquiry for 12 months, so no message gets lost. I never sell your data or use it for anything else.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

With your consent, this website uses the following tools to understand how visitors use the site and to show you more relevant ads:

• Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.): anonymous statistics about visits, pages viewed and traffic sources.
• Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd.): measuring ad performance and remarketing, so you may see my ads on other websites.
• Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.): measuring and personalising ads on Facebook and Instagram.

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). These tools only load after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you click “Decline”, they don't run. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

Google and Meta may process data in the United States. Transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. More in Google's privacy policy and Meta's privacy policy.

Hosting and videos

The website and the wedding films are hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver the site securely, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type. Legal basis: my legitimate interest in running a safe, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time. Just write to hello@perkypugfilms.com and I'll reply within one month.

You can also complain to a data protection authority: in the Czech Republic the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ), in the UK the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
